Every
day life is not filled with great adventures. So I have to
find a way to use my energy for something exciting. To me
this something is the fascination of kayaksport. Which has
become a very important part of my life. In my spare time
I try to reach this special state of release and freedom in
foreign countries and a fantastic and pure nature. It has
always been great fun being abroad and I have met nice friends
with the same interests all over the world.

The picture was taken by Jens Klatt when Olaf and Olli has
been at the Kuchl rapid (Austria) making their whitewater
rodeo instruction video.

Further
more it is a sport of complex, dynamic and powerful physical
and mental exercises, so it is a real challenge to reach your
personal bounds again and again.
There are only a few things which are comparabel to a difficult
and dangerous situation in real white water and you have to
trust yourself and your equipment to control the fear inside
your head.
To sum up my feelings when I come home again let me use some
borrowed words:
